Many of the roads originally used for logging are no longer in use and make delightful paths for not too difficult walks. The road along the river from Lunksoos to the old Hunt Farm is especially nice.

While hiking, remember to always carry a compass. Even seasoned Mainers do not go into the woods without one, road or no road.
